I sanded the puzzle joints on the side panel I glued yesterday and I am not sure I will be able to use them. I have posted on PocketShip.net to get the thoughts of some experienced builders. While sanding the side joint today, it looks like I sanded through the veneer and I don't think that is a good thing.
Here are both sides of the panel.
I glued the other side panel this morning, but before glueing I sanded each of the fingers a little. This allowed the pieces to go together a lot easier and I think I will have a much better result. I will post pictures of these once they cure.
